Mirror Works

In his ongoing series of mirror works, Laurenz Ben Marsau explores reflection as both a visual and emotional experience. The mirrors invite the viewer to become part of the artwork itself, their presence and movement altering the composition in real time.

Through layers of color and light, the reflective surfaces shift with the surrounding space, transforming each piece into a living artwork that never appears the same twice. The mirrors change with perspective, light, and context, evolving into new works with every place they inhabit.

Developed from his experiments with resin and mixed media, the mirror series celebrates beauty, optimism, and transformation. By combining reflection, text, and paint, Marsau continues to reinvent his artistic language, turning the act of seeing into a moment of connection.
