FEELING BLUE
16.-19.10.25
Following the success of Notes to Myself, Laurenz Ben Marsau continued his exploration of emotion with Feeling Blue, presented at Barlach Halle K in Hamburg.
The exhibition marked an evolution in both scale and depth, featuring thirty new works and the first pieces of his ongoing mirror series. Feeling Blue is a reflection on melancholy, hope, solitude, and resilience. An attempt to give form to emotions that often remain unspoken.
Through layered compositions of photography, paint, and resin, the works capture the delicate balance between fragility and strength, darkness and light. The series expands Marsau’s visual language, inviting viewers to pause, to feel, and to see themselves within the work.
